Pen Tales Ep.1: What does it take to make a comic book?

Hey everyone,

I hope you had a great start to 2025 so far! If you read my last newsletter about my goals for this year, you know that building my artist brand was very much in the center of it all.

I’ve always wanted to start making a Podcast, and now the first episode of Pen Tales is here! It’s nothing innovative or crazy, it’s just a straightforward interview Podcast about art & illustration.

My first guest was Dominik Gümbel: a digital artist and illustrator, who also happens to be my co-founder for our upcoming anthology book Mirrored Dreams, launching in just a couple days on Kickstarter.

Making this has definitely lead me out of my comfort zone a bit, and it feels good to get fresh impressions, fail at a couple things here and there, and learn something new! If you have any feedback or suggestions, please let me know what you liked or not, and what you’d prefer to get from this Podcast in the future. It would be so appreciated and valuable!
