Starting 2025 with a big one!

Finally fulfilling one of my long term goals!

Hey dear reader!

The year’s almost over, and I definitely missed one of my 2024 milestones: writing more newsletters! 🙈 Well, this one will be the second-to-last, so at least you’ll have me in your inbox one more time: next week, I will do a proper 2024 recap with a look at which of my milestones I also missed 😄.

2025 will start with a big one though, with one of the goals from my long-term bucket list: To start and publish a book project with artists I admire. This book will be Mirrored Dreams, and we now have an official release date for the Kickstarter campaign: February 5th!

But that’s not all. Dominik and I teamed up to create the book cover, and I’m so proud to share the final result with you:

The artwork is a true collab between us. We both worked on the concept when Dominik was visiting me in Münster some weeks ago. Then he made the outlines, I’ve colored it, and then we sat down for the final polish. I hope you like the result! 😊

Please give the project a follow on Kickstarter if you’d like to stay up to date. The funding goal to make this happen is planned to be somewhere around 5,000 EUR, so we’re grateful for the support!

I’ve recently had the chance to review another pen display by Huion (maybe you’ve watched this Huion vs. Wacom comparison I made almost exactly a year ago).

When thinking about what to create with the tablet, I decided to make another Curious Cabin. I still need to finish the post production of the review, but I’d already like to show you the resulting artwork:

All that’s left to say now is: I wish everyone celebrating Christmas some wonderful holidays with family and friends! Stay off the screens for a bit, but hopefully still read my letter next week! 😄💜
